Trucking settlement review & broker transparency

Created by a fellow trucker with over 17 years on the road. Duntic Munford — CB handle: MoneyFoot™. His questions about load payments led him to take a master broker training class and build TRACKS™ to share what he learned.

Our mission: TRACKS helps company drivers, lease operators, and owner-operators organize load-payment records, review settlements, and approach payment questions with greater preparation and confidence.

Your truck moved the load.
Now follow the money.

Settlement review tools for owner-operators

You paid for the truck. You bought the fuel. You carried the risk. You delivered the freight.

Suppose a load was booked for $6,000, but you were told it paid $4,000. At 30%, that difference could change your pay by $600 on one load.

A settlement statement should provide answers—not create more questions.
TRACKS™ gives trucking professionals broker transparency forms and owner-operator settlement audit tools to review deductions, compare available load records and request documentation behind percentage pay. Know what was paid. Know what was deducted. Know what to request.

Educational self-help materials. Not an official FMCSA form or legal representation.

The quiet profit leak

A percentage means very little when you cannot verify the number it was applied to.

One unexplained deduction may look small. Repeated across loads, weeks and months, uncertainty becomes a business problem. TRACKS™ gives you a disciplined way to identify the right record, request it professionally, calculate the difference and preserve your evidence.

A blacked-out price is not the end of the question. If load paperwork is redacted or appears altered, preserve the copy, request the underlying records appropriate to your role, and compare the documents. Under 49 C.F.R. § 371.3(c), parties to a brokered transaction have a right to review the required transaction record. TRACKS™ helps you organize that process; it cannot prevent document editing or guarantee disclosure.

01Unknown revenue baseThe settlement states a percentage, but not the source number or every revenue component used.
02Unverified chargebacksInsurance, equipment, escrow, fuel or “administrative” charges appear without validating documents.
03The wrong demandA driver asks a carrier for a broker’s record—or cites a rule that does not match the relationship.
TRACKS™ is not built to accuse everyone. It is built to separate verified charges from missing explanations, mathematical errors, duplicate deductions and expenses outside the written agreement.
The real industry fight behind the form

Broker transparency has been contested at the federal level.

TRACKS™ did not invent the transparency question. Owner-operators, small carriers, broker representatives and FMCSA have spent years debating what transaction information should be available, how it should be requested and how quickly it should be produced.

OOIDA and SBTC

They petitioned FMCSA to strengthen practical access, address waiver clauses and move broker transaction records toward electronic production. OOIDA requested automatic electronic delivery within 48 hours after service was completed.

FMCSA

FMCSA granted the OOIDA and SBTC petitions in 2023 to open rulemaking, denied TIA’s request to eliminate § 371.3(c), and proposed electronic records plus production within 48 hours after a party requests them.

TIA

The Transportation Intermediaries Association argued that the review provision was outdated, could expose proprietary pricing and was unnecessary in the modern market. FMCSA denied TIA’s petition to rescind the provision in 2023.

Status reviewed September 6, 2026: The proposed electronic-record and 48-hour provisions are not presented here as final law. TRACKS™ is a privately developed documentation system, not an OOIDA, TIA, FMCSA or government product, and it does not promise that every requester qualifies or that every request will produce records.

One system. The correct track.

Your rights depend on how you operate.

TRACKS™ begins with a role worksheet so users do not treat every truck driver, lessor, carrier and contractor as if the same regulation applies.

Checking the latest available reporting period…
How the thumbs work—and what to check before moving

TRACKS uses an equal-weight average of the selected industries’ real GDP percentage changes. Green thumbs-up: both quarter-to-quarter and year-over-year averages exceed +0.1%. Black thumbs-down: both are below −0.1%. Otherwise the signal is mixed or flat. Missing or suppressed industry data means “unavailable”; data more than 210 days beyond the reporting quarter means “dated—verify.” No thumb is issued in those cases.

The average is a transparent screening rule, not an official BEA freight index or an estimate of freight volume. Industries are not weighted by truckloads. Refrigerated and tanker categories use broad industry proxies; not all activity in those industries uses that equipment. Alaska and Hawaii also involve distinct ocean/air and local-haul logistics.

Before repositioning: check actual outbound and return-load offers, equipment fit, seasonality, deadhead, tolls, wait time and your total operating cost. A growing economy can still have too many trucks chasing too few loads.

Quarterly figures here are actual quarter-to-quarter changes, not annualized rates. BEA releases state GDP quarterly and may revise history. Source checks run automatically; the reporting period does not change until new data are published. Failed checks keep the last verified data and show a notice.

Good load—or an expensive move?

Use a real load offer. Include the miles and costs of getting to it—and getting back or reaching your next load. These are your inputs, not market-rate quotes.

Allocate fixed costs and your compensation to non-fuel costs. Include unpaid waiting time in trip extras. Blank fields are never treated as zero.

You’re parked.
Make your next move count.

You’re sitting in the cab. Another load comes across your phone. You run the numbers: fuel, miles, time, wear. Then you look at the bills that will keep coming whether you roll today or stay parked.

Whether you’re taking part in a trucking strike or holding out because a load won’t cover your costs, you know how quickly a difficult week can become a difficult month. When government action feels too slow to bring relief at the pump, waiting can feel like your only choice.

Your parked time gives you an opportunity to prepare. Read. Learn. Review your records. Give yourself a clearer understanding of the options and decisions ahead.

How to Profit Big in Blockchain

Mastering the Field of Liquidity Pools · Duntic Malick Munford

Listen to the book’s original message

The original audio created for this book.

“I offered this book before. This kind of pressure is why I wrote it.” I anticipated the financial strain that rising costs and interruptions in freight income could put on drivers. My purpose was to introduce blockchain and liquidity pools as subjects to understand before a hard stretch forced people to start looking for alternatives.

Here is your golden opportunity to prepare. I’m bringing the offer back. If you passed it by before, take another look now—while you can still give learning the attention it deserves. Information can be invaluable when you understand it and use it to make informed decisions.

For curious readers ages 16 to 80. You can begin learning from your seat while safely parked. Explore the book’s discussion of liquidity pools, then weigh the opportunities, costs and risks before deciding whether they fit your circumstances.

That same habit of preparation is why I created TRACKS™. Start organizing your settlements and transaction-record requests now, while the paperwork is available and the details are fresh. Give yourself a process for examining what your truck earned and how your pay was calculated.

Don’t let this become another “I wish I had looked into it sooner.” Take a look at the book today. Explore TRACKS™. Make this pause the moment you begin preparing for the next wave—before the squeeze deepens.

Sold separately on Amazon. See the listing for current price and available formats.

Educational reading, not a promise of income. Crypto and liquidity pools can lose value, including your entire investment; fees, changing returns and smart-contract failures add risk. They do not guarantee protection from fuel costs or replace trucking income. Learn while safely parked.

Straight answers

Trucking settlement review: frequently asked questions

How do I check a trucking settlement statement?

Start with your settlement statements, operating agreement, load paperwork and available receipts. Compare the pay calculation with fuel charges, insurance, escrow and other deductions. Choose the TRACKS form that matches the question and your operating relationship.

What if my rate confirmation does not match my settlement?

Compare the same load across both documents, including any written adjustments, fuel surcharge and approved extra charges. Note the specific difference and request clarification with the supporting records. Form 9 helps organize a settlement verification request; Form 10 documents a discrepancy and asks for a response or correction.

Can I buy one form instead of the complete package?

Yes. Each of the 12 individual forms is $29. The complete driver package includes all 12 forms and the program manual at the $97 introductory price. The $299 Fleet / Consultant License provides the separate expanded-use option. Compare TRACKS forms and packages.

Is TRACKS™ an official FMCSA form?

No. TRACKS™ is a privately published educational and documentation system. Its materials reference current regulations where appropriate, but the forms are not issued or endorsed by FMCSA.

Does sending a form guarantee that I will recover money?

No. Results depend on the facts, contracts, applicable law, evidence and the responding party. TRACKS™ helps users organize, request and compare records; it does not guarantee disclosure, payment or agency action.

Can every driver use the broker transparency request?

No. The program explains why the request is designed for a carrier that was a party to the brokered transaction. A leased-on driver may need to request percentage-pay documentation from the authorized carrier instead.

Does TRACKS™ say every insurance charge is illegal?

No. It helps the user examine whether a charge was disclosed, authorized, documented, allocated and calculated according to the agreement and applicable law.

Can I resell the blank forms?

Not under the individual license. Completed forms may be used for the purchaser’s own business matters. Fleet and consultant permissions require separate licenses.

3. Digital delivery

Products are delivered by the method and within the timeframe stated at checkout, such as a download page or an email containing access instructions. No physical product is shipped unless expressly stated.

Provide an accurate email address, check spam or junk folders, and use a compatible device and software. Delivery means that the purchased files are made available through the stated method with working access. A payment confirmation alone does not establish successful delivery.

Download and securely retain your files and purchase receipt. If a download link has an expiration date, it will be disclosed. We do not promise indefinite hosting or account access unless the product description expressly includes it.

4. License and ownership

Unless the product description provides a different license, a purchase grants the named purchaser a nonexclusive, nontransferable license to download, retain backup copies, print, and complete the materials for the purchaser’s own personal or business matters.

Completed forms may be shared with parties who reasonably need them for the purchaser’s matter, such as a carrier, broker, adviser, attorney, or regulator. The license does not permit resale, sublicensing, redistribution of blank materials, public uploading, shared download access, or use to supply unlicensed customers with the product. Fleet or consultant use covering additional users or clients requires the applicable expanded license.

Purchasing a product does not transfer copyright or trademark ownership. Ownership of underlying materials remains with the Company or the applicable rights holder. Rights expressly granted here remain subject to the license purchased and applicable law.

5. Educational purpose and responsibility

TRACKS is a privately published educational and documentation product. It is not an official government form, legal representation, legal or tax advice, or a substitute for individualized professional advice. No attorney-client relationship is created by purchasing or using it.

Rights and remedies depend on the facts, contracts, operating relationship, deadlines, jurisdiction, and current law. We do not guarantee disclosure of records, recovery of money, a favorable decision, agency action, increased income, or any other result.

Users must verify facts and calculations, select the appropriate materials, complete blanks accurately, remove inapplicable language, and obtain qualified assistance when needed. Examples are illustrative unless expressly identified otherwise. A purchase does not include future revisions, customization, or ongoing advice unless stated in the offer.

6. Acceptable use

Do not use our products to submit false information, impersonate someone, threaten or harass others, infringe rights, publish private information unlawfully, or obtain unauthorized access to records or systems. Do not remove attribution or ownership notices from blank materials for resale or redistribution.

We may suspend hosted access when reasonably necessary to address fraud, security threats, or a material license violation. Where practicable, we will explain the basis and allow a response. Suspension does not eliminate remedies available under applicable law.

7. Support and third-party services

For product access or file problems, contact the support email above with your order number and a description of the issue. Do not send passwords, full payment-card numbers, or unnecessary sensitive load or customer records.

Third-party software, payment processors, and linked websites operate under their own terms. We remain responsible for our own obligations as the seller; referring to a third-party service does not excuse a failure to deliver the purchased product.

8. Warranties and liability

We will provide the product described in your purchase and address delivery or file defects under the return policy below. Except for express commitments and warranties or remedies that applicable law does not allow us to exclude, we make no additional guarantee that the materials will meet every individual need or remain current indefinitely.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the materials, such as lost business opportunities. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded, including applicable rights concerning fraud, misrepresentation, or other conduct for which limitations are prohibited.

9. Complaints, applicable law, and changes

Contact support with your order number, relevant facts, and requested resolution so we can investigate and respond. This process does not require you to surrender lawful payment-dispute rights, delay a legal deadline, or waive access to regulators, courts, or other available remedies.

Applicable federal and state law governs each transaction. These Terms do not impose mandatory arbitration, a class-action waiver, or an exclusive court location.

Changes will carry a new effective date and apply prospectively. They do not retroactively remove rights or promises attached to an earlier purchase. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to the extent permitted by law.

We use Google Analytics to understand visits, traffic sources and interactions with this website. Google Analytics uses cookies and collects usage and device information. Payment-card details are not sent by this analytics installation. Learn more at Google’s partner-site privacy information.

The Site may receive contact information, order details, product selections, support communications, device or browser information, and basic usage information needed to operate the Site. This information may be used to process orders, deliver files, answer support requests, prevent misuse, maintain records and comply with law.

Payment-card data is handled by the selected checkout provider and should not be stored by this Site. Information may be shared with hosting, checkout, email-delivery, fraud-prevention and professional service providers only as reasonably necessary for those functions, or when required by law. Personal information is not offered for sale as an independent business product.

Song and merchandise voting each store your choice and a keyed, irreversible hash of your IP address to limit voting to one vote per IP for each poll. The voting database does not store your raw IP address. The hash and vote are retained while the respective poll operates, and only aggregate counts are displayed publicly. Hosting providers may separately process network data to deliver the Site.

Browser storage also remembers a confirmed vote separately for each poll to discourage repeat voting if your network changes. Clearing browser storage removes that reminder but does not remove the server’s IP-based vote record. Basic browser storage may remember other Site interactions. Users can control browser storage through their device settings. Information is retained only as reasonably necessary for orders, support, security, accounting and legal obligations. The Site is directed to adults and is not intended to collect information from children. A privacy request process and final contact address will be published before checkout activation.

Complete Digital Product Return and File Replacement Policy

Published October 3, 2026. Purchase terms take effect when checkout is activated. Customer support email and business mailing address will be published before purchases are enabled.

All sales final after successful digital delivery

Because digital products can be downloaded, retained, and copied, all sales are final after successful delivery, except for the exceptions below and rights required by applicable law. We do not accept digital returns or provide refunds for a change of mind, lack of use, or a decision that a correctly described and functioning product is no longer needed.

A request made before successful delivery will be reviewed according to the order’s delivery status and applicable law.

Failed, damaged, corrupted, or incorrect files

If a purchased file fails to download, is damaged or corrupted, cannot be opened despite meeting the stated requirements, or is the wrong file, contact support. After verifying the purchase, we will provide a replacement file, restore access, or correct the delivery at no additional charge.

Please provide:

  • Order number and purchase date;
  • Email address used for the purchase;
  • Product and affected filename;
  • Description of the problem or error message;
  • Device and software used, if relevant.

Notify us promptly. Prompt notice helps resolve the issue but does not shorten rights that applicable law provides. We may ask you to try reasonable troubleshooting steps.

Refund exceptions

We will correct verified duplicate charges by refunding the duplicate payment. If we cannot deliver the purchased product or remedy a material file defect or material discrepancy from the product description within a reasonable time, we will refund the amount paid for the affected product unless you accept another resolution.

This policy also permits any refund or remedy required by applicable law. We do not require customers to accept repeated unusable replacements instead of a remedy to which they are entitled.

Approved refunds are submitted to the original payment method where available. The payment provider determines when the credit appears. We do not charge an additional fee for an approved refund.

What replacement covers

Replacement restores the purchased files or corrects their delivery. It does not include a different product, an upgraded license, custom drafting, individualized advice, or guaranteed outcomes unless separately purchased.

Nothing in this policy waives nonwaivable consumer rights or lawful payment-dispute rights.

Complete License and Copyright Terms

The Individual Form license permits completion and use of one purchased form for the purchaser’s own business matter. The Complete Driver license permits the individual purchaser to use the included materials for that purchaser’s own trucking business matters. The Fleet/Consultant license permits only the internal organizational or client-use scope expressly stated at checkout.

No edition permits resale of blank forms, public posting, mass redistribution, transfer of download credentials, trademark removal or representation that the forms are official government documents. © 2026 DWONKA™ Enterprises LLC. TRACKS™ and associated original content are protected under applicable intellectual-property law. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.

Customer Support and Grievance Procedure

A customer should submit the purchaser’s name, order number, purchase date, product selected, description of the problem, relevant screenshots or delivery records, and requested resolution. DWONKA™ Enterprises LLC will acknowledge the grievance, review available order and delivery information, request any reasonably necessary clarification, correct verified delivery defects when practicable and provide a written disposition.

A customer dissatisfied with the initial response may request one supervisory review and explain the remaining issue. This process does not prevent either party from exercising rights that cannot legally be waived. The final support email, mailing address and ordinary response periods will be added when the custom domain and checkout are connected.
